Olympic Steel is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to support continuous improvement efforts and improve safety, quality, and efficiency. You will set up and weld parts per blueprints and assist with operations, assembly, and warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MIG welding experience.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious.
• Basic math skills.
• Understanding of devices such as micrometers, calipers, straightedges and other measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and weld parts according to blueprint or schematic requirements.
• Assist with operation, assembly and other warehouse duties as needed.

Job Description

The Welder/Fabricator supports and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and strives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency in all areas of responsibility. The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for the set up and welding of parts according to blueprint or schematic requirements. The Welder will also assist with operation, assembly and other warehouse duties as needed.

• 2+ years of experience with MIG
