Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in California is seeking a Production Worker to weld and fabricate steel components in an industrial plant setting. This role involves manual welding, reading basic drawings, and using hand and power tools.

Ideal candidates have steel fabrication experience, ability to lift 40 lbs, and familiarity with weld processes (Arc & MIG). The position offers hourly pay of $23 per hour plus benefits and retirement programs.

Qualifications

• Must have steel fabrication experience, at least 1 year preferred.
• High school diploma / equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to read fractions and a tape measure.
• Ability to read shop prints.
• Understanding of basic hand and power tools and their use.
• Capable of Arc & MIG welding both horizontal and vertical, with ability to pass certification.
• Capable of using oxy/fuel torch to cut steel.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using industrial steel tooling such as vertical band saw, drill press, plasma cutter, grinders, etc.
• Prior use of fork trucks, rolling equipment, and overhead bridge cranes.
• Basic maintenance experience.
