Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in California seeks a Production Worker to weld in an industrial plant, fabricating steel molds and form parts for concrete products, using hand and power tools and welding.

Requires steel fabrication experience (1 year preferred), high school diploma, ability to read prints and tape measures, basic math, and proficiency with arc and MIG welding; ability to lift 40 lbs and operate shop equipment such as band saws, drill presses, plasma cutters and cranes.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in steel fabrication, at least 1 year is preferred.
• High school diploma / equivalent
• Ability to perform basic math
• Ability to read fractions and a tape measure
• Ability to read shop prints
• Understanding of basic hand and power tools and their use
• Capable of Arc & MIG welding both horizontal and vertical, with ability to pass certification
• Capable of using oxy/fuel torch to cut steel
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using industrial steel tooling such as vertical band saw, drill press, plasma cutter, grinders, etc.
• Prior use of fork trucks, rolling equipment, and overhead bridge cranes
• Basic maintenance experience
