Welder

Job Overview: Hourly rate plus eligible for attendance bonus of $240 every two weeks, retention bonus, 80 hours of PTO after 90 days.

The position of a Welder is crucial to our organization. This role involves fabricating, assembling, and welding metal/steel components on various trailers following SOPs, Blueprints, Knowledge, Foreman, and/or Lead instructions.

Job Responsibilities

1. Maintain all company quality requirements and follow guidelines with a “Stop and Fix” mindset.
2. Keep a clean environment and adhere to company 5S and safety standards.
3. Read blueprints and drawings; take or interpret measurements to plan layout and procedures.
4. Select appropriate welding equipment, settings, and methods based on requirements.
5. Set up components for welding according to specifications.
6. Operate angle grinders to prepare parts for welding.
7. Align components using fixtures, tape measures, levels, speed squares, and clamps.
8. Weld components using manual welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
9. Prepare trailers and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
10. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures for flaws.
11. Maintain equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
12. Assist other welders to complete work efficiently.
13. Work in a fast-paced environment.
14. Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work in awkward positions for extended periods.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
