Job Purpose

The Welder/Mechanic is responsible for following all quality procedures and regulations while welding on shear heads and other various items. Perform basic mechanic duties. Position will also operate heavy mobile equipment and work on heavy equipment as needed.

• Effective communication skills
• Use measuring devices accurately
• Strength: lift up to 50 lbs
• Motion: sit most of the shift, kneel, squat, climb steps as needed
• Visual and auditory acuity to distinguish sounds and see details at various distances
• Work in all weather conditions; accept criticism and handle high-stress situations calmly
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
