Atterro is hiring a Welder for a direct-hire position in Wrightsville, PA. This role emphasizes MIG and stick welding to fabricate, join, and repair metal components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay rate is $20.00–$25.00 per hour with a Weekend Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5 AM–3 PM. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, welding certification or program, 1–3 years welding experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; reading blueprints is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Welding certification or completion of a welding program preferred.
• 1–3 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Basic math and geometry skills for measurements and layout work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform MIG and stick welding on complex assemblies in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Fabricate machine frames, structural components, fixtures, and jigs.
• Operate hand tools, cutting equipment, cranes, forklifts, and shop machinery safely and effectively.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
