Job summary

Staffmark Group in Wrightsville, PA is seeking a Welder for direct hire. You will read blueprints and perform MIG and stick welding on complex assemblies to fabricate frames, fixtures, and jigs for safe, efficient manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 1-3 years welding/fabrication experience, and the ability to read and communicate in English. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work a weekend shift 5 AM–3 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Welding certification or completion of a welding program preferred.
• 1-3 years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform MIG and stick welding on complex assemblies in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Fabricate machine frames, structural components, fixtures, and jigs.
• Operate hand tools, cutting equipment, cranes, forklifts, and shop machinery safely and effectively.
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals.
