Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Saturday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, as needed

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Previous TIG and/or MIG welding experience required
• Experience welding stainless steel, precious metals, and semi-precious metals preferred
• Ability to maintain welding certifications and qualifications

Job Duties

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on production and prototype instrumentation parts
• Weld a variety of materials, including stainless steel and specialty metals
• Operate and assist with programmed welding machines as needed
• Set up welding fixtures and prepare materials for production
• Ensure welds meet quality standards and pass destructive and non-destructive testing requirementsMaintain product-specific welding certifications
• Support prototype and production projects while meeting manufacturing deadlines
• Perform additional fabrication and production duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, structural welding, or production environments is preferred.
• Experience using grinders, saws, cutting equipment, and metal fabrication tools is beneficial.
• Knowledge of weld inspection, blueprint interpretation, and quality control procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate craftsmanship, dependability, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Welder.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.
