Job summary

Staffmark Group in Wheaton, MN is seeking an experienced Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role focuses on aluminum TIG and MIG welding, fabrication, and repair of metal components while upholding safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of aluminum TIG/MIG welding experience, can read blueprints, and uses measuring tools to verify quality. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; welding certification or technical training is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of aluminum TIG and MIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using measuring and inspection tools to verify quality standards.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, MIG, and other welding processes based on project requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications.
• Set up materials and components for welding projects.
• Inspect finished welds and products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and specifications.
• Debur, grind, and finish welded components as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
• Load and unload materials for shipping and receiving activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.

Looking for Welder jobs in Wheaton where your welding skills help build quality products? This opportunity lets you apply your craftsmanship to fabricate, join, and repair metal components while supporting safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

This position is responsible for efficiently and safely welding aluminum parts based on customer specifications.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.


• Vocational training, welding certification, or technical education is beneficial.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in welding positions throughout the shift.


• Ability to lift metal components, materials, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to safely wear welding helmets, gloves, and required personal protective equipment.


• Ability to safely work around welding equipment, sparks, heat, and fabrication machinery while following established safety procedures.
