Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; welding certification or training preferred.
  • Prior welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-C Core) in manufacturing or fabrication.
  • Read blueprints, weld symbols and shop drawings with accuracy.
  • Skilled with welding equipment, grinders, measuring tools and hand tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move around the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and prepare welding equipment, tools, and materials.
  • Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding as needed.
  • Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and welding specs.
  • Inspect welds for quality and ensure parts meet tolerances.
  • Adjust weld settings to maintain strong, clean welds.
  • Perform grinding and basic fabrication as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe welding booth.
  • Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Complete daily production logs and paperwork as required.
  • Communicate with supervisors to troubleshoot issues or improve processes.

On the floor


  • Prep materials and machines

  • Weld metal parts with high precision

  • Read blueprints and specs carefully

  • Maintain a clean welding booth

Responsibilities:


  • Set up and prepare welding equipment, tools, and materials.

  • Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding (depending on project needs).

  • Read, understand, and follow blueprints, work orders, and welding specifications.

  • Inspect welds for quality and ensure parts meet blueprint tolerances.

  • Make adjustments to weld settings to maintain strong, clean welds.

  • Perform grinding, fitting, and basic fabrication as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe welding work area.

  • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and shop policies.

  • Complete daily production logs, inspection forms, or other paperwork as required.

  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to troubleshoot issues or improve processes.


Requirements:


  • High school diploma or GED required; welding certification or technical training preferred.

  • Prior welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core) in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial setting.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings.

  • Skilled in using welding equipment, grinders, measuring tools, and hand/power tools.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stoop, stand, and move throughout the shift.

  • Solid work ethic - dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independently or with a team.

  • Willingness to learn new techniques, improve processes, and pitch in where needed.

  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with leads, inspectors, and coworkers.
