Staffmark Group is hiring a Sheet Metal Fabricator in Alexandria, MN. The role involves loading materials, reading blueprints, and fabricating sheet metal parts to meet daily production targets.

Expect a 5 AM–5 PM schedule (Friday–Sunday). Pay ranges from $20.50 to $30.00 per hour plus a safety-focused environment and benefits through Staffmark Group.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, machine drawings, and sketches to determine fabrication requirements.
• Fabricate sheet metal parts using efficient methods while meeting quality standards.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, punches, and shears.
• Select appropriate fabrication processes and use tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain work area per 5S standards and follow safety policies.

• Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as press brakes, punches, and shears.
• Select appropriate fabrication processes and use various tools and machines safely and effectively.
• Maintain work area per 5S standards, report equipment maintenance needs, and follow all safety policies and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Sheet Metal Fabricator.
