  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding according to engineering drawings, customer specifications, and production requirements.
  • Set up and safely operate welding equipment and inspect completed welds for quality, strength, appearance, and proper penetration.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components, fixtures, and prototype or production parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
  • Measure, grind, cut, and prepare materials before welding and perform minor fit-up and fabrication work as needed.
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment when properly certified.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas according to 5S standards and follow all safety and quality procedures.
  • Complete production documentation accurately and report equipment malfunctions, defects, and quality concerns promptly.
  • Inspect completed work before submission and support continuous improvement and waste-reduction initiatives.
  • Work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 AM, with starting pay based on welding certification and experience.
