Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on weldments with tight tolerances.
• Read blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings.
• Lay out, fit, tack, and fabricate weldments using fixtures and jigs.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting components.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
• Perform minor maintenance on welding equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Job Duties

• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, hand tools, and measuring instruments
• Perform minor maintenance on welding equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements

Physical Capabilities

• Frequently stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, and grasp
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs continuously
• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements throughout the shift
• Maintain close visual attention for welding and inspection work
• Work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
