Job summary

Nordfab Ducting in Thomasville, NC is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator. The role requires MIG and TIG welding, the ability to read blueprints, and experience with various fabrication machinery. Candidates should be able to work independently or in a team, maintain safe, clean work areas, and pass a welding test.

Overtime may be required; a high school diploma or GED is expected. Certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experienced with fabrication machinery (brakes, shears, spot welders, swaging/beading machines, rollers, iron workers, drill press, hand tools).
• Must read and interpret blueprints.
• Use critical thinking when making decisions.
• Must prioritize workload and take direction as needed.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Willing to learn new skill sets and cross train in different job functions.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass the welding test.

The person in this position must meet the following requirements:

• Must be able to work both independently and within a team environment
