Job summary

TrueNorth Steel in Fargo, ND is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our Game Changer team. You will perform welding and fabrication tasks, follow safety and quality standards, and work with blueprints on basic manufacturing assignments.

We offer a competitive pay rate and comprehensive benefits, including health and dental, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. Shifts run Monday to Thursday, with Fridays mornings optional.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years welding experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions.

POSITION: Welder/Fabricator

SHIFT: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm & Fridays 6-11am

PAY RATE: $23.50 - $26.00+ per hour (DOE) + Full Benefits Package

LOCATION: Fargo, ND

Essential Job Functions

• Follow all company safety and quality requirements.

Knowledge, Skills And Qualities

• Perform simple flat and horizontal welds and flat groove welds
• Fit and weld subassemblies with tack or spot weld
• Perform measurements within specified tolerances
• Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance.
• General knowledge of equipment and operations.
• Basic understanding of Weld symbols
• Understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Read a tape measure (imperial and metric).
• Accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
• Perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace.
• Make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal.

Education And Work Experience
