Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced MIG Welder for our Tacoma shop. The ideal candidate will weld stainless steel and other metals on custom fabrication projects, reading blueprints and maintaining high quality welds.

We offer a new facility, 4-10 hour shifts, and strong growth options. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, and Flexible PTO up to 4 weeks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of MIG welding and/or welding experience, including stainless steel.
• Experience with custom fabrication or architectural metalwork preferred.
• Proficient with grinders, saws, presses, brakes, and other welding equipment.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Ability to consistently produce clean, high-quality welds.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with shop safety protocols and PPE.
• High attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on stainless steel components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Operate grinders, saws, presses and brakes to prepare welds.
• Welds must be clean, precise, and meet quality standards.
• Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
