Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Welder / Fitter to support fabrication and assembly of metal components and welded structures in our Aerospace division in California. The role requires TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding and the ability to read basic blueprints.

Shifts available: 1st and 2nd; Monday-Thursday; hours listed. We offer competitive pay of $25-$35 per hour, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, PTO, paid holidays, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, or completion of a recognized welding trade school.
• Experience with TIG and MIG welding processes.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience assisting with fabrication and assembly of components from engineering specifications.
• Familiarity with hand and power tools, including grinders and measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Welders with fabrication and assembly projects.
• Perform TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on various materials and assemblies.
• Use welding fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools to ensure accurate assembly.
• Operate hand grinders and other fabrication tools to prepare and finish welded parts.
• Perform quality checks to verify weld integrity and dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.
• Support fabrication activities as directed by supervisors or lead personnel.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Welder / Fitter to support the fabrication and assembly of metal components and welded structures. Hours: 1st shift and 2nd shift available

1st Shift – Monday – Thursday (6:00am – 4:30pm)

2nd Shift – Monday – Thursday (4:00pm – 2:30am)

Days: Monday-Friday
