Jobot is seeking a seasoned Welder to join our Sacramento manufacturing team. We focus on structural steel fabrication, miscellaneous metals, and custom metalwork, delivering high-quality results from the shop to the jobsite.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of welding experience with SMAW and FCAW, plus grinding and quality control skills, and the ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings. This permanent on-site role offers solid benefits and growth opportunities within a leading firm.

Qualifications

We are currently seeking a seasoned Welder with a strong background in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Shielded FCAW welding, Grinding, and Quality Control. This opportunity is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment and has a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

1. Utilizing various welding techniques such as SMAW and FCAW to assemble manufactured products according to specifications.
2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and plans to understand the welding requirements.
3. Grinding and finishing workpieces to ensure smooth surfaces and meeting quality standards.
4. Conducting quality control checks on completed projects to ensure they meet the required specifications and safety standards.
5. Maintaining accurate records of all welding activities and regularly inspecting equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operation.
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
7. Collaborating with the team to troubleshoot any issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in welding, specifically with SMAW and FCAW.
2. Proven experience in grinding and quality control.
3. A thorough understanding of welding equipment, tools, and procedures.

6. Demonstrated knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing environment.

9. A professional certification in welding from a recognized institution would be an added advantage.
