Job summary

Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota is seeking a skilled welder for first/second shift. The role involves MIG welding, gouging, patch welding, and crane/furnace operation to service dies.

You will troubleshoot welding equipment and perform preventive maintenance in a safety-conscious environment. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of MIG welding experience or related education, knowledge of steel alloys, and OSHA awareness.

Qualifications

• MIG welding expertise for dies and patch work.
• Ability to read weld diagrams and material specs.
• Awareness of safety standards and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld dies by flooding or overlaying impressions and stick weld undercuts.
• Gouge cracks and patch dies; place them in furnace using a crane.
• Troubleshoot MIG welding machine and perform routine maintenance.
• Operate crane/furnace safely and keep work areas clean.

About The Job -

MiG weld die by flooding or overlaying impressions and stick weld any undercuts.

Gouge cracks and damaged surfaces from dies for patch welding and place them in furnace using crane.

Trouble shoot MiG welding machine and perform routine maintenance.

Operate crane / furnace safely and keep areas clean.

General Skills

• MiG welding

• Use of hands to handle or operate objects, tools, controls.
