Job summary

Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota is hiring an Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. You will install, repair, and maintain electrical components of heavy industrial equipment and troubleshoot complex electrical and logic problems.

You will read schematics and blueprints, interpret technical documents, and conduct quality inspections. You must be able to work rotating shifts, lift heavy objects, and comply with safety codes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years heavy industrial electrical experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
• Willing to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Able to work rotating shifts to meet production demands.

Responsibilities

• Aptitude to troubleshoot complex electrical and logic problems.

• Conduct quality assurance measures and inspections.
• Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages; write code as needed.
• Moderate understanding of the mechanical and hydraulic processes; diagnose problems as needed.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1-3 years heavy industrial electrical experience required.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment.
• Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated self-starter who can manage projects and make decisions.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents.
• Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc.
• Able to work rotating shifts to meet the demands of production.
