Job summary

ELLWOOD Group Inc in Texas is seeking a skilled welder for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role rotates between 1st and 2nd shift and requires MIG welding, die repair, and crane or furnace operation.

You will inspect and repair dies, troubleshoot welding equipment, and maintain clean, safe work areas. Full benefits day one, plus 10 vacation days and 3 sick days; prior experience or related education preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven MIG welding capability on dies and overlays.
• Understanding of steel alloys used in die casting.
• Experience or education in welding or fabrication is valued.
• Awareness of safety practices and proper PPE.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld dies by flooding or overlaying impressions and stick weld undercuts.
• Gouge cracks and repair damaged surfaces from dies for patch welding; position in furnace using crane.
• Troubleshoot MIG welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Operate crane and furnace safely; keep work areas clean.

Gouge cracks and damaged surfaces from dies for patch welding and place them in furnace using crane.

Trouble shoot MiG welding machine and perform routine maintenance.

Operate crane / furnace safely and keep areas clean.
