Job summary

Ellwood Texas Forge Navasota is hiring a welder to join our manufacturing team on 1st and 2nd shifts. The role involves MIG welding and patching dies, and requires operating a crane and furnace safely.

We seek candidates with MIG welding skills, knowledge of steel alloys, and at least 3 years of experience or equivalent education. OSHA familiarity is a plus; benefits begin on day one, with vacation and sick days offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience or education in welding.
• MIG welding on dies, patch welding and undercuts repair.
• Operate crane/furnace safely and perform routine maintenance.
• Knowledge of steel alloys; OSHA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weld dies by MIG and stick welding to repair impressions and undercuts.
• Gouge cracks and damaged surfaces from dies for patch welding and place them in furnace using crane.
• Troubleshoot MIG welding machine and perform routine maintenance.
• Operate crane and furnace safely and keep work areas clean.

About the job -

MiG weld die by flooding or overlaying impressions and stick weld any undercuts.

Gouge cracks and damaged surfaces from dies for patch welding and place them in furnace using crane.

Trouble shoot MiG welding machine and perform routine maintenance.

Operate crane / furnace safely and keep areas clean.
