HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Certified Welder for the La Porte, TX area. The role focuses on maintenance and repair of certified welding for specialized assets and related equipment, in a refinery-like environment.

Responsibilities include welding, cutting, gouging, inspection, and interpreting drawings. Advanced welding certifications are required, with travel paid and comprehensive benefits offered by Clean Harbors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with specialized training or 1 year college.
• 5–7 years welding experience.
• Fabrication skills (cutting, grinding, etc.) essential.
• GMAW certification required.
• SMAW certification required (Stick welding).
• FCAW certification required.
• GTAW certification required.

Responsibilities

• Weld materials together using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW and GTAW.
• Basic fitting experience/knowledge.
• Know raw materials and understand MTRs and electrode classifications.
• Gouging processes (air carbon arc, plasma arc, oxy-fuel).
• Cutting processes (mechanical and power tools, oxy-fuel, plasma arc).
• Cleaning and checking for defects and shape component parts.
• Performing quality control.
• Following drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Certified Welder to join their safety conscious team! This opportunity is based out of the La Porte, TX area. This team member will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all certified related welding for specialized assets along with maintaining company equipment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
