Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking Industrial Services General Laborers/Hydro blasters for a traveling team based in Laporte, TX. Travel is 75% local and 25% regional. Must be able to wear protective gear and work in extreme conditions.

TWIC is required or obtainable. Prior industrial services experience preferred. Core duties include confined space entry, working at heights, and collaborating with diverse equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial services preferred.
• Ability to perform manual labor (heavy lifting, confined space entry, working at heights).
• Ability to wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Wear protective clothing and equipment (Nomex coveralls, mask, hard hat).
• Work under extreme climate conditions (high heat, humidity; varying environments).
• Exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, exhaust and pressurized fluids.

Job description

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors is looking for Industrial Services General Laborers/Hydro blasters to join their safety conscious traveling team! This opportunity is based out of the Laporte, TX area. This team member will provide intercompany regional support across various lines of business including Technical, Field and Industrial Services. The responsibilities of this role will include confined space entry, working at heights and working alongside various types of equipment. This is a physically intensive position that may require 75% travel locally and 25% travel regionally. TWIC is required or must be able to obtain. Experience in industrial services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to wear protective clothing or equipment. This includes, but is not limited to Nomex coveralls, a black belt, slicker suits, rubber boots, a fresh air breathing mask and escape pack and a hard hat.
• Must be able to work under extreme climate conditions (excessive high heat index of 95+ degrees Fahrenheit, 98% humidity and subzero weather conditions) relative to geographic location.
• Must be able to withstand exposure to dust, chemical and environmental, fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highly pressurized fluids.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial services experience preferred.
• Ability to perform manual labor (i.e. heavy lifting, confined space entry, working at heights, etc.);
• Ability to wear a respirator.
• Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• TWIC card required or must be able to obtain.
• Some traveling is required.
• Availability to work variable shifts including day, nights, weekends, holidays.
