Position Title: Welder Wage: $23.00-$36.00 Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm; 2:00pm-10:30pm

QPS Employment Group has a great Welder position available at a company in Franklin, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Welder Responsibilities

• Pull parts to assemble, test and skid/pack per drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Assemble finished products from blueprints to the specification indicated on the blueprints.
• Prepare units for shipment. Constructs skids and boxes as required. Paints, stencils, and affixes nameplates as required.
• Maintain tools and equipment provided for the assembly operations.
• Maintain work area in an organized manner.
• Comply with all the ISO 9001 Quality standards, policies, and procedures of the company.

Welder Requirements

• Weld Proficiency – Aluminum.
• Written and oral communication.
• Driven for results.
• Effective problem resolution.
• Process improvement.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and a functional knowledge of hand tools.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Requires standing at workstation for at least 8 hours per day.
• Considerable physical effort working with average or heavy weight materials, and/or tools or difficult work positions for sustained periods of time.
• Ability to lift and maneuver parts up to 50 pounds.
