Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a great Assembly position available in Franklin, WI. The role is on 1st and 2nd shifts with potential for hire after a successful probationary period.

The candidate will assemble copper and brass parts, read blueprints, measure parts, and use hand and power tools in a busy manufacturing setting. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds and standing most of the shift.

• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production orders.
• Measure, fit, position, and secure parts for assembly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment.
• Inspect parts and finished products for defects or quality issues.
• Support brazing, soldering, welding, and leak-testing processes as needed.

Position Title: Assembly Wage: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Shift: 1st, 2nd Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm; 2:00pm-10:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Assembly position available at a company in Franklin, WI. This is a 1st and 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.

Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assemble copper and brass parts, coils, headers, and other heat exchanger components.
• Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production orders.
• Measure, fit, position, and secure parts for assembly.
• Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment.
• Inspect parts and finished products for defects or quality issues.
• Support brazing, soldering, welding, and leak-testing processes as needed.
• Use pallet jacks, hoists, or other material handling equipment when authorized.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Work with team members and assist with other production duties as needed.

Assembly Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and blueprints.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to use a tape measure and other measuring tools.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience with copper, brass, brazing, soldering, or metal assembly is a plus.
• Forklift or material handling experience is preferred.
• Stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Frequently use hands and tools.
• Lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and twist throughout the day.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
• Wear required PPE.
