Long Fence, the industry leader for over 75 years, is seeking an experienced Welder to join our Shop Fabrication Team. Scheduled hours for this position are 6:30am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday in Capitol Heights, Maryland.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Experience with MIG Welding
2. Able to read and understand shop drawings
3. Ability to weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
4. Ability to work independently and with others based on projects
5. Ability to read and fabricate material from blueprint drawings
6. Proficiency with measuring tools and equipment such as tape measures, squares, hand grinders, etc.
7. Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team environment

Position Requirements

1. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a fabrication department
2. Valid Driver's License
3. OSHA certification is a plus
4. Welding certification is a plus
5. Ability to drive a forklift is a plus

Pay rate depends on experience, with a minimum of $20.00 per hour and a maximum of $24.00 per hour.
