Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America in Bunnlevel, NC is seeking a Welder to perform welding and fabrication to repair and maintain plant equipment, ensuring operational reliability in an industrial setting.

You will safely operate MIG, TIG and stick welding equipment, read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols, inspect welds, identify repair needs and collaborate with plant teams to reduce downtime, while upholding safety and quality workmanship.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform welding and fabrication to repair and maintain plant equipment
• Safely operate welding machines, cutting torches, and hand tools

• Follow all safety standards and work collaboratively with plant teams

• Demonstrated ability to perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding safely and accurately

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
