Challenge Manufacturing’s Northlake, TX facility is seeking a Weld Technician I to support automated welding cells, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot welding equipment. You will mentor trainees, assist with setup changes, and ensure safety compliance across the production line.

The role requires reading instructions, understanding welding processes, and having strong hand tool skills. A Weld Tech background and English proficiency are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with welding processes and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automated welding cells and robots.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fixtures and cells; change tips/caps and maintain guns.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment; adjust sensors and wiring as needed.
• Support shift handoffs and maintain accurate documentation in Plex.
