U-Haul is seeking a Robotic Welding Technician (Programmer) in Glendale, AZ to program, troubleshoot, and optimize welding robots for production. You will train robot operators and programmers while improving cycle time and throughput.

The role requires reading welding blueprints, passing measurement tests, and a strong mechanical aptitude, with travel for machine-specific training with robotics companies. U-Haul offers comprehensive benefits and career growth.

• Able to read, write, communicate in English.
• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints.
• Ability to pass print reading, measurement, and fraction/decimal conversion tests.
• Demonstrate high level of mechanical aptitude (non-traditional backgrounds welcome).
• Excellent computer skills.

Responsabilidades

Minimum Qualifications:

• Able to read, write, communicate in English

• Ability to pass print reading, measurement, and fraction/decimal conversion tests

• Excellent computer skills
• Able to travel for machine-specific training with robotic company
• Knowledge and experience using the GMAW processes

Work Environment:

The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing, or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods both indoors and outdoors of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs assisted or unassisted.
