Job summary

A leading engineering services firm is seeking an experienced LVL II RT Weld Quality Technician for a client site in Canton, OH. Responsibilities include setting up and calibrating equipment, interpreting NDT test results, and training other radiographers. Candidates must possess required certifications including IRRSP or State Cards, and be able to demonstrate relevant experience in Weld Quality. Physical abilities required include lifting up to 50 lbs and being active throughout the shift. Competitive pay and completion bonus offered.

Qualifications

• Must have sufficient technical knowledge and skills to perform duties.
• Responsible for training assistant radiographers and organizing results.
• Must be capable of following both verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Setup and calibrate equipment based on applicable codes and standards.
• Interpret and evaluate results for NDT tests.
• Assist in on-the-job training and guidance of trainees.

Skills

Current IRRSP Card or State Card

SNT Level II certification in RT

Experience with Weld Quality and/or Profile Shots

SNT Level II certifications in MT, PT, UTT and PMI

Computed Radiography (CR) experience

40 hours of Radiation Safety Training

Current SPRAT and/or IRATA Rope Access certification

Valid Driver’s License

Pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Background check clearance

Valid TWIC Card
