Job summary

The RT Technician performs NDT operations and evaluates results of NDT tests as certified by MISTRAS Services written practices using routine NDT methods. This position inspects piping, tanks, and vessels using Radiography in a chemical plant setting.

Key requirements include LVL II RT certification, at least 12 months of NDT experience, High School Diploma, and valid TWIC and State Card. The assignment runs 4–5 weeks on-site in Pascagoula, MS, starting mid-January 2027, with a background check

Qualifications

• LVL II RT certification required.
• Minimum 12 months of NDT experience.
• Proof of classroom hours/Training in NDT.
• Valid TWIC Card and State Card.
• Background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform piping and vessel inspections using Radiography.
• Run film, grade film, and report findings per procedures.
• Set up and calibrate equipment; interpret results to standards.
• Provide on-the-job training to trainees and Level I personnel.
• Organize and report NDT data and findings.
• Work on-site in Pascagoula and adhere to safety requirements.
