Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Weld Technician Examiner to join the Quality Assurance Department supporting ultra high purity systems in manufacturing. The role requires meticulous inspection of weld components, documentation of exam results, and safe, compliant work practices.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year TIG welding with stainless, and the ability to navigate drawings via SAP; lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and contributing to 6S hygiene.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
• Experience in quality assurance of process piping or similar fields is preferred
• Ability to learn navigation within operating systems to access drawings and instructions.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs daily and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspection of weld components used in ultra high purity systems to ensure compliance with ASME B31.3 standards.
• Review and document weld exam reports accurately and upload them into shared folders.
• Utilize SAP to print drawings and parts lists, supporting the production process.
• Inspect welded tubing and components ranging from 1/8” to 6” in diameter using proper tools and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols and 6S responsibilities.
