Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Welder for a client in San Luis Obispo, CA, to support Ultra High Purity system manufacturing. The role requires reading drawings and performing TIG, orbital, and lathe welding to produce precise welds.

You will work 2nd shift, 3pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday, with a 10% shift differential and safety-focused environment. A high school diploma and 1 year TIG welding experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of TIG welding experience with stainless steel.
• Ability to interpret drawings and instructions accurately.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks on components used in Ultra High Purity Systems, including tack welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding.
• Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and instructions to produce high-quality, precise welds.
• Utilize TIG welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding equipment to assemble tubing and fittings.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and work instructions.
• Participate in routine operations, maintain cleanliness, and support 6S responsibilities to ensure efficiency and safety.

As a Welder, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of ultra-high purity systems. Pay Range: $24-25/hr

Shift: Monday through Friday, 2nd Shift

3pm to 11:30pm
