Job summary

North American Stamping Group is seeking a Machine Operator (Robotic Weld and Assembly) for the 2nd shift at our Paulding, OH facility. Hours are 3:30 pm to 12:00 am. Starting pay is $20.55 per hour with a 7.5% shift premium.

Qualifications

• 2 years of manufacturing experience in assembly or machine operator roles.
• Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds frequently and stand 8 hours per day.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines such as robotic welder and assembly station.
• Set-up and change over tooling.
• Conduct break tests, log results, and adjust as needed.
• Maintain safety curtains/guards during operation.
• Perform final visual inspections of parts leaving weld area.
• Complete all reports accurately.
• Maintain good housekeeping around equipment.
• Report quality, production, or safety issues to the production manager.
• Maintain tools in proper places.
• Operate for trucks as required.
• Suggest improvements via Continuous Improvement Plan.
• Re-work parts per instructions.
• Perform preventative maintenance as instructed.

Sign On Bonus – This position is eligible to receive a$1000 sign on bonus.

Experience Requirements

2 years of prior manufacturing experience working in assembly or a machine operator position.

Personal/Technical Skills

Suggest methods of improvement, (i.e. Continuous Improvement Plan)

Available for training as required

Will have the ability to work a schedule that allows completion of the job on a daily basis.

Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to understand and follow written work instructions

Available to work overtime as required.

Essential Job Functions

Operate machines such as a robotic welder, assembly station, or other types of equipment

Set-up and/or change over all tooling

Conduct "break test" at designated time intervals, keep log and make adjustments as necessary

Keep all safety curtains/guards in place during operation
