Overview
Starting Pay: $19.75 - $21.50 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Shift 16: Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM
We are hiring a Spot Welder / Assembler to attach hardware and components to metal stamped parts using spot-welding and assembly machines. This role ensures precise alignment, high-quality welds, and accurate production records in ERP system, while following all safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Operate spot-welding and assembly machines to attach hardware to parts according to production specifications
- Set up and configure spot-welding and assembly jobs with guidance as needed
- Monitor equipment performance, report malfunctions, and replace worn electrodes or tips
- Inspect parts for quality and ensure alignment and adherence to specifications
- Record production and welding activity in ERP System
Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in welding and assembly
- Ability to learn and perform equipment setups, identify and clear faults, and use inspection gauges
- Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
- Occasional lifting up to 65lbs
- Bend, reach, and handle parts throughout the shift
- Frequent handling of parts and machine components
- Required PPE: eye protection, hearing protection, MET guard safety shoes
