Job summary

Machine Operator (Robotic Weld and Assembly) – 2nd Shift

Location: Paulding, OH. Shift hours: 3:30 pm – 12:00 am. Pay starts at $20.55 per hour, plus a 7.5 % shift premium. Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance after 30 days, a 401(k) program, paid holidays, vacation, and tuition assistance after one year. A $1,000 sign‑on bonus is available.

Experience Requirements
  • 2 years of prior manufacturing experience working in assembly or as a machine operator.
Personal / Technical Skills
  • Suggest improvement methods (e.g., continuous improvement plan).
  • Available for required training.
  • Ability to work a schedule that allows daily completion of the job.
  • Detail‑oriented with minimal supervision.
  • Understand and follow written work instructions.
  • Available to work overtime as required.
Essential Job Functions
  • Operate machines such as robotic welders, assembly stations, and other equipment.
  • Set up and/or change over all tooling.
  • Conduct break tests at designated time intervals, keep logs, and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain safety curtains/guards during operation.
  • Perform final visual audit inspection of all parts leaving the welder area for quality.
  • Fill in all reports properly and completely.
  • Maintain good housekeeping around equipment.
  • Report all quality, production or safety problems to the production manager.
  • Maintain all tools in proper places.
  • Operate forklifts (trucks) as required.
  • Suggest improvement methods (e.g., continuous improvement plan).
  • Re‑work parts as per instructions.
  • Preventative maintenance as instructed.
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds frequently.
  • Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day.
  • Must pass a drug screen.
