Aurora Health Care in Wisconsin is seeking a Concierge/Greeter to welcome guests and assess their immediate needs, helping ensure a positive first impression.

You will assist with directions, mobility, parking coordination, and referrals to volunteers, while collaborating with hospital staff to keep the lobby safe and efficient.

This role emphasizes excellent communication, flexibility, and a patient‑oriented approach to support Aurora guests and visitors.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in service management as a concierge or greeter in a large public facility.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers and assess their immediate needs.
• Successfully manage the first impression of the facility.
• Assist with mobility needs: helping out of vehicles, locating wheelchairs, directions, escorting to destinations.
• Pass customers to volunteers for escorts when possible.
• Utilize admitting or other departments to verify destinations and stay with patients when needed.
• Maintain a smooth traffic flow at facility entrances.
• Assist with parking needs: valet, tour buses, short-term visitors, transportation vouchers, etc.
• Ensure the working area is clean, safe, and obstacle-free.
• Report security/safety issues to Public Safety Services immediately.
• Collaborate with hospital support staff (Public Safety, Environmental Services, Plant Operations, Patient Transport and Grounds).

• Offers assistance in any way necessary to include assist out of their vehicle, locate wheelchair, provide directions, escort to destination, etc.
• Passes customer to volunteers for escorts when possible.
• Utilizes Admitting or other departments to verify destination and remains with the patient if they are alone or in a wheelchair.
• Assists in maintaining a smooth traffic flow at the entrances to the facility.
• Assists in the arrangement of parking needs of customers, i.e., valet service, tour busses, short-term visitors, etc. Assists customers with transportation needs, i.e., taxi vouchers, bus passes, van transport, or other special needs.
• Assures working area is clean of debris, safe, and free from obstacles.
• Reports any Security/Safety issues to the Public Safety Services Department immediately.
• Works with hospital support staff that may include, but is not limited to: Public Safety, Environmental Services, Plant Operations, Patient Transport and Grounds.

Required Functional Experience

Typically requires 1 year of experience in service management as a concierge or greeter in a large public facility.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.Ability to problem solve and work independent of direct supervision.Demonstrated ability to work a flexible, customer‑oriented schedule that meets the needs of Aurora guests and visitors.
