Job summary

Missouri State University is seeking Welcome Desk Attendants at the Springfield Campus to greet patrons, monitor entrances, and sell memberships and locker services. The role supports Campus Recreation programming and service delivery with a friendly, reliable customer-first attitude.

Candidates should be available for early mornings (5:45am) and evenings (up to 10:15pm), plus weekends and breaks, with summer availability preferred. Work-study optional; no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Must meet all University requirements to work on campus.
• Experience in customer service is preferred, but not required.
• Great personality, friendly and reliable, willing to help.
• Demonstrate an ability to work well with diverse groups of people.
• Proficient verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong initiative to learn policy and membership software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome Desk Attendants greet patrons and guests, monitor turnstiles,
• Sell memberships, lockers and other services.
• Provide information on Campus Recreation programming to meet fitness, recreation, and wellness needs.
