Qualifications

• Knowledge of inspecting, testing, weighing and measuring devices.

• Knowledge of record keeping.
• Knowledge of applying laws, rules, regulations, standards and procedures.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Tests retail scales, platform scales, and truck scales up to 150,000 pounds.
• Tests flow meter devices such as gasoline pumps and meters.
• Tests packaged items for net weight as stated on the label.
• Explains test procedures to business owners and managers.
• Prepares reports and maintains records.
