Job summary

NHS Scotland is recruiting a Weight Management Dietitian for the Specialist Weight Management Service at the North West Kilmarnock Area Centre. The post is offered on a permanent basis and part-time, 14.40 hours per week.

A UK driving licence is essential for this role. The Dietitian will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver weight management programmes, assess and treat service users, and contribute to education resources.

Qualifications

• Educated to a BSc Honors degree/postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics and registered with the HCPC.
• Significant post-graduate experience with clinical experience in group settings.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, treatment and management of service users.
• Delivery of 1:1 and group weight management education programmes.
• Contribute to evaluation and development of patient education resources; link with wider services; use digital solutions to reach target populations.
• Participate in planning, delivery and supervision of students on clinical placement.
