Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Dietitian within the Community Dietetic Service, based at North West Kilmarnock Area Centre. The post supports patients in their homes, care homes, GP practices and health centres, with supervision and a focus on collaborative teamwork and meeting local targets.

The successful candidate will hold a degree/postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics, be HCPC registered, and have time-management, leadership and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Degree/postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
• Experience in community dietetics is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day caseload and contribute to the team’s shared caseload.
• Provide supervision and participate in practice placement programmes for student practitioners.
