Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a Dietitian to join the Community Dietetic Service based at North West Kilmarnock Area Centre. The role covers home visits to patients, care homes, GP practices and health centres, with caseload management and opportunities for supervision and student placements.

The successful candidate will hold a degree or postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics and be HCPC-registered.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience in community dietetics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day caseload in the community dietetics service.
• Provide dietetic care to patients in home visits, care homes, GP practices and health centres.
• Support supervision and participate in student placements within the service.
