Job summary

Medi-Weightloss of Kensington is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in a full-time, part-time, or PRN capacity at our Kensington, MD location. You will provide high-quality medical care within our weight management program, conduct exams, order tests, and collaborate with supervising physicians to ensure patient safety and treatment efficacy.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license in the United States.
• DEA registration preferred.
• Experience with weight loss clinics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient's medical and psychosocial history relevant to care.
• Conduct physical examinations per guidelines.
• Order and review labs and diagnostic procedures including ECGs.
• Deliver preventive medicine and program education to patients.
• Adhere to prescription guidelines in collaboration with supervising physician.
• Maintain EMR documentation for patient care and medication management.
