Job summary

Medi-Weightloss is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve our Trinity and Clearwater locations. You will provide high-quality medical care, perform exams, manage labs and medications, and educate patients on weight management strategies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with supervising physicians, comprehensive documentation in the EMR, and patient follow-up to monitor progress. This position offers flexible hours and a strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must hold active NP or PA credential and state license.
• DEA certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow supervising physician guidelines and document care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient medical and psychosocial history relevant to care.
• Conduct physical examinations per guidelines.
• Order/review labs and diagnostics including ECGs.
• Deliver preventive medicine counseling and patient education on products.
• Adhere to prescription guidelines with supervising physician.
• Maintain documentation in EMR per standards.
• Review patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Facilitate referrals to other providers when appropriate.
• Make follow-up calls to address patient concerns.
