Non-Exempt (Eligible for Overtime) — This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, meaning the incumbent is eligible to receive overtime pay for all hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

This position carries no supervisory responsibility.
The Weighmaster is responsible for the accurate weighing of loaded trucks, timely processing of weight tickets, and coordination of walk-in and phone-based customer orders at an assigned facility. This role serves as a critical operational link between customers, drivers, dispatchers, and the Billing department by ensuring that transactions are recorded accurately and that supporting documentation is completed and forwarded in a timely manner. The Weighmaster supports pit truck coordination while providing attentive customer service and precise data management, contributing directly to the efficiency and financial accuracy of daily site operations.

High school diploma or equivalent required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
The majority of work time is performed indoors in an office or scale house environment
Potential exposure to airborne dust consistent with aggregate or materials processing operations
Potential exposure to fumes or offensive odors depending on proximity to plant operations
Possible incidental exposure to chemicals used in facility operations
Work is performed in close proximity to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment on or near the facility grounds
Varies — Low to Loud depending on work location within the facility; office areas are generally low while plant or scale areas may reach loud levels
