Job summary

Martin Marietta is currently seeking a Rockstar to join our LaCygne Quarry team in LaCygne, KS. This weighmaster role handles weigh tickets and customer order fulfillment in a team setting.

The position will start at LaCygne Quarry and float to Olathe Quarry, with additional administrative duties when scale coverage isn’t needed. Office-based portion and field-related tasks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Must have a valid US Driver’s License.

• Work with trucking vendors to schedule and direct trucks.

Martin Mariettais currently looking for their next rockstarto work in an excellent team environment based out of our LaCygne Quarry in LaCygne, KS.Weighmasters are responsible forall aspects of customer order fulfillment, including efficient and effective interactions with customers, trucking vendors,and remotely weighing and ticketing customer trucks while working in a cohesive team environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position that may require long hours and weekend work.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma
• Related field or equivalent work experience preferred

Work Environment

This job operates 90% of the time in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Familiarity with Microsoft Office software, Sales Force and JD Edwards is preferred.

Brief Description

Consists of, but not limited to, loading and weighing trucks according to CDOT rules and Martin Marietta policies and procedures. Accurately enter information into ticketing system and build rapport with customers. Communicate with dispatchers, customers, owner operators, supervisors and all levels of personnel. Execute all Martin Marietta Materials Inc. policies and procedures.
