Martin Marietta is seeking a weighmaster to operate the scale house, weigh trucks, and determine disposal methods for materials. You will manage paperwork, document regulatory records, and coordinate with the sales and dispatch teams in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires strong organizational and customer service skills, ability to type 25 wpm, and the stamina for 12-hour shifts with potential overtime and weekend work. Safety and accuracy are essential in daily duties.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for the weighing of material in large commercial vehicles and determining the proper disposal method of the material brought in by customers on a large truck scale. They are responsible for all paperwork and recording of all regulatory and accounting documentation. The scale house/weighmaster works in a fast-paced environment in cohesion with the customer service department and other weighmasters.
All newly hired employees are required to attend New Hire Orientation and Safety Training in person at our Corporate Office located in Dallas, Texas. Attendance is mandatory and is a condition of employment. To support employees traveling to attend training, mileage and approved travel expenses will be reimbursed for individuals whose commute to the Dallas Corporate Office exceeds 50 miles, in accordance with company travel and reimbursement policies. Additional details regarding travel arrangements and reimbursement procedures will be provided prior to the training date.
