Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in Mills River, NC seeks a Weigh Station Specialist for a 3rd shift role. You will monitor arrivals/departures, verify shipments, and support yard operations using WMS and forklifts.

You’ll work across Packaging, Quality, Brewing, and Supply Chain to ensure accurate inventory, safe operations, and efficient loading processes. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 2 years powered industrial truck experience within a production, warehouse, shipping/receiving operation preferred.
• 1 year security/customer service-related experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial tractor-trailer combination vehicles and the ability to maneuver, park and back equipment safely in and out of the loading/receiving docks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrance and departure of vendors, contractors, visitors, and delivery vehicles; guard against theft and ensure proper delivery of products.
• Operate warehousing machinery and equipment (forklifts, Bomber/TyGuard, pallet wrappers, etc.).
• Assist Logistics in Mills River and Chico by email/phone to share bills of lading, trailer counts, and ship dates.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve errors in warehouse systems (WMS, inventory, BOLs/ASNs).
• Coordinate cross-functionally across Packaging, Quality, Brewing, and Supply Chain to support inventory and material flow.
