Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician in Indianapolis, Indiana to maintain automated warehouse equipment and support a safe, efficient operation. Weekly pay and strong benefits are highlighted to attract skilled technicians.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification or 3 years of relevant experience required.
• Knowledge of 480 V and pneumatic equipment; intermediate level.
• Experience with PLC/HMI programming and related software is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems; safety-focused.
• Experience with bar code scanners/vision systems (Cognex, Datalogic, Keyence).
• Experience operating MHE such as forklift/scissor/boom lifts is a plus.
• Comfort with maintenance-derived GMP and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure PM entries into software are complete and accurate.
• Use CMMS to organize and report maintenance activities.
• Maintain spare parts inventories and ensure proper stock levels.
• Contribute to maintenance policy and SOP improvements.
• Keep a clean, organized maintenance area and ensure GMP compliance.
• Coordinate with operations to meet PM program demands.
• Support safety and Lean initiatives and Ryder culture.
